Why so many of our customers choose LVP
Luxury vinyl plank (LVP) and luxury vinyl tile (LVT) are layered floors with a printed wood or stone visual under a clear, tough wear layer. Most lines have a rigid, waterproof core, so a spill, a pet accident or a leaky dishwasher doesn't ruin the floor.
It's warmer and quieter underfoot than tile, costs less than hardwood, and looks convincingly real up close. That's why it's become the go-to floor for Pierce County families with kids, dogs and busy homes.

Luxury vinyl FAQ
Is luxury vinyl really waterproof?
Most LVP lines we carry have a waterproof core, so the planks themselves aren't damaged by water. Standing water can still find the subfloor at the edges, so wipe up big spills and fix leaks quickly. Read why waterproof floors make sense in our wet Northwest weather.
Can I use luxury vinyl throughout my whole house?
Yes. Many of our customers run the same luxury vinyl through the living room, bedrooms, hallways, kitchen and baths for one continuous look. It's comfortable underfoot and holds up in every room of the house.
How is LVP different from sheet vinyl?
LVP comes as individual planks or tiles with a realistic texture and a thicker, tougher build. Sheet vinyl is one continuous roll. It's seamless and budget-friendly, and we install both.
Is it good with dogs and cats?
It's one of the best choices for pets. The wear layer resists scratches, and accidents wipe right up. A thicker wear layer, measured in mils, holds up best in busy homes.
Can it go in a basement?
Yes. Luxury vinyl is a favorite for basements because it handles concrete slabs and occasional moisture. We check the slab and prep it properly before we install.
Can you install it over my existing floor?
Often, yes, as long as the existing floor is flat, solid and well bonded. We'll check at your free estimate and tell you whether anything needs to come up first.
